Cannabidiol (CBD) oil has recently become popular in health circles for a lot of reasons. Although we do not know as much as we wished we knew, there is a lot less mystery now. For instance, research  has shown that CBD helps deal with some of the causes of insomnia, like anxiety and sleep apnea. A recent study done in 2019 on 72 subjects suggested that CBD can improve sleep and help deal with stress after administering 25 mg of CBD. During this research, about 47 people out of the 72 had issues with anxiety, while 25 people had problems with sleep.

The results? After the first month, about 80% of the people with anxiety issues had lower anxiety levels, while about 67% of people with poor sleep had a better sleep.

CBD also helps deal with pain, another major cause of sleeplessness. There is also an evidence that CBD can help people with poor sleep cycles do better, as research from 2020 on people with Parkinson’s clearly shows.

There is still a lot to be done before we can know for sure that CBD oil is the best for dealing with sleeplessness and all the conditions related to it. However, we know that it helps a lot, and it doesn’t have destructive side effects.
